From the beginning, the Petrohradsk\u00e9 Pad\u00e1n\u00ed aimed to entertain climbers with bouldering on granite rocks and at the same time create a place where people like to meet. The event lasts practically the entire weekend, extended by an additional Friday afternoon, but it is possible to join for just one day or even one afternoon. The organizer provides facilities for the entire weekend with accommodation, meals, and social facilities including hot showers. You can live in your own tent or car or use four-bed cabins. On Friday evening, there is chatting and playing by the fire, on Saturday evening, a band plays after the results are announced, and then the whole thing moves to the fire. The area is large enough for everyone to find peace and get a good night’s sleep despite the night’s exertion. The boulders are about a kilometer away from the base camp on foot, and the forest offers a huge playground for entire families.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights of the event is of course the race. The rules were set from the beginning so that everyone could climb their best from the varied offer of several hundred routes. So that, if they don’t have to “win”, they could “compete” with a team mate or friend. The boulders lead over biting granite, but they offer a lot of playful climbing of all difficulties from firsts to 8B. In recent years, we have been using older existing boulders and a few dozen are new. The places under the boulders are very safe, often possible even without boulder mats. We have also prepared some bonus boulders, so-called “Karliky” for the best.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By participating in the event, whether as an active competitor or passively, you will support the organizers in their relentless efforts to prepare boulders all year round, pay for guides, bands, and venue rental. There will also be some symbolic prizes leftover.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timeline: area available from 25. 04. approx. 11 am to Sunday approx. 12 pm (longer stay can be arranged individually), social facilities and refreshments available throughout<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

25. 04. from 12 o’clock the race takes place, in the evening there is a bonfire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

26. 04. the race runs all day until 7 pm, then announcement, concert and fire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
